Historic Water Chute
Make a splash on our historic Victorian Water Chute.
One of only three examples left in the UK, the chute has been taking people on an exhilarating ride into Northstead Manor Gardens lake since 1931.
Listed as one of the top 10 Vintage Seaside Attractions by The Guardian, a short hurtle down a ramp from our station ends as the boat-shaped carriage splashes into the lake, before gliding onwards.
The chute was refurbished in 2008, after it fell into neglect and is a must for the whole family!
